Younzia Anthony
Johnson
February 6, 1970 – April 11, 2026
Younzia Anthony Johnson, Known as "Tony" 56, was born on February 6,1970, in Lansing Michigan. He entered eternal rest on April 11, 2026 surrounded by family.
Early in life, he worked in corporate America, yet he carried a dream in his heart; To one day run a business of his own. A car wash was his vision, a symbol of independence and hard work. Though life's circumstances delayed that dream, they never erased it.
Through persistence and sacrifice, he made that dream a reality. He opened his own business and became a pillar in his community. He uplifted others by offering opportunities, guidance, and support. Sharing his success with all those he helped along the way.
A stern, no-nonsense man, He believed in discipline and determination. Yet beneath that strong exterior was a deep care for all others. He showed his love through his actions: Providing, protecting, and standing firm for those he loved. He was a sports fanatic, the Cowboys were his favorite team and he had a love for cars.
In his final days, he spent his time seeking peace and reflecting on his life. Those closest to him saw a gentle softness emerge. He became more open in expressing his care for others. He also turned more deeply to prayer, finding comfort and a closer connection to his faith.
He is preceded in death by parents Faith Johnson-Greer and Charles Gladman Jr; step-father, Waymon Greer; sister, Michele Bibby.
He is survived by daughters Camille Johnson, Yasmeen Johnson, Sydney Fisk and Yanaliese Johnson; son, Montere Evege; significant other, Tasha Lurry; sister, Vonda Johnson-Wilson; half-sister, Christen Gladman; half-brothers, Charles Gladman III and Gordon Gladman;(2) granddaughters and (1) grandson; bonus children, Tyisha Jennings, Mikayla, Jacquil, Royanna, Mikhi, Marlaya, Jakyra; nieces, Shayla and Taraya Johnson, Trishay and Trishelle Bibby; nephew, Tristian Bibby; special cousin, Twila Moss; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
