Wyoming E. Massey was born April 14, 1944 in Canton, Ohio to the late James and Annie Massey. She was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Wyoming accepted Christ at an early age. She was a life long member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Wyoming was a people person she was always cheerful with a bubbly personality. She enjoyed laughing and having fun. She served many years singing in the church choir and on the Nurses Guild at Mt. Olive Baptist. During her youthful years she was a member of a family singing group called the "Massey Girls" which was organized by her mother. They performed on first Sunday nights at Jerusalem Baptist Church. Wyoming loved family. She was instrumental in organizing family reunions and social functions for her family. She attended McKinley High School Wyoming retired from the Hoover Company in 20000 after 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Massey; brothers, Bernard, Richard, Benjamin, Terry, Raymond and Henry; sisters, JoAnn, Betty Bufford, Lucille Edwards and great grandson DaVier Cooks. She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughters, Cassandra Massey (Joseph WilliamsII), and LaDonna Massey; 7 grandchildren, Gregory, Sheena, Britny, Cherrelle, Joseph, Jerrimiah, and Shawn; 13 great grandchildren; special nephew/son, Tyrone Howard; special friend, Dwinda Willis as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
