Willie James Pryor, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with a long illness. Born on September 26, 1957, in Tunica, Mississippi, Willie was the son of Lula Mae Pryor and the late JT Pryor.

Willie's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to serving others. He graduated from "Big Blue," Akron South High School, where he laid the foundation for a life dedicated to compassion and service. An avid sports enthusiast, Willie was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan, his passion for the team never wavering even in the toughest of times.

Driven by his innate desire to help others, Willie chose a career in the medical field, where his kindness and expertise touched countless lives. Additionally, Willie served his country with honor and distinction as a member of the Ohio National Guard, embodying the principles of duty and patriotism.

Willie's legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created. He is survived by his loving mother, Lula Pryor, devoted sisters, Teressa Pryor and Nellie (Matthew) Rogers; caring brothers, TJ (Marlene) Pryor and Don (Claire) Pryor; cherished children, Seiarra Pryor, Crystal Pryor, Carlisa Jeffrey, and Demetrius Jeffrey; adored grandchildren, Ce'Azia Watson, Syriah Watson, Bre'Awna Hambrick, Ja'Hase Jeffrey, Erick Lamon, Dashana Jeffrey, and Darnell Gaines; precious great-grandchildren, Ka'Lani Jeffrey and Ja'Kari Burley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Willie was preceded in death by his father, JT Pryor, and his sister, Emma (John) Garrett.

Willie James Pryor's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and selflessness. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to inspire kindness and generosity in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
