Willie George Anthony, age 73, joined our Lord in heaven on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center after a long battle with complications following cancer. He will be remembered as a beloved son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was born on December 12, 1944 to the late Eddie Lee and Emma Lue Anthony of Woodbury,  GA. He relocated to Canton, Ohio where he worked for the City of Canton Sanitation department for 32 years. He led a spirit-filled life and touched the lives of all who knew him. He was an active member of Hear the Word Ministry where he served as a minister for over 20 years. In addition to his father he was proceeded in death by two siblings, Jimmy and Bessie. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother Emma Lue Anthony, four children Brian, Daniel, Sophonia and Christopher; six sisters, Emma Jean, Patricia, Judy, Betty, Mabelline and Belyha "Beverly"; five brothers, Walter, Bennie, Eddie, Jesse, Patrick and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
