Willie Jr. Gardner, 72, passed away after an extended illness on August 25, 2018. He was born in Jasper, Alabama and was a long time member of the Akron community. He also was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr., and Izora Gardner; one brother and three sisters. He leaves to cherish his loving memory wife, Griselda; son, Marcus (Karen) Foster all of Akron; Cynthia Gardner of Corpus Christi, TX and Marcinia Foster of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Mildred (Ophinell) Davis, and Elizabeth Hallerberg; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
