Willie A. Caine, beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026.  

Willie was born in Brooksville, Mississippi on October 21, 1936, to the late Fannie L. Stewart and Lucius Caine.

Willie moved to Akron, Ohio to pursue his career with Chrysler, later becoming a proud retiree of the United Auto Workers.  An avid bowler and grandfather to nine, Willie strived to help educate those around him with sayings we'll always remember, like "Let me learn you something..." and "It's gonna be what it's gonna be."  With these words and many others, we remember him as a selfless father, grandfather, and friend, as a good-natured, hard working man who touched many lives. 

In addition to his parents, Willie is preceded in death by his wife Emma Caine; two children, Rodney Caine and Colleen Caine. 

Willie is survived by his special stepchildren, Kevin Davis (Susie) and Elissa Harris; grandchildren, Stephanie Caine, Rodney Caine Jr., Tomorror Caine, Dr. Adrian (Harrison) Springfield, Savanah Davis, Nechelle Shaw, Tevin Johnson, as well as his devoted granddaughter and longtime caregiver, Sibyl Caine; (13) great grandchildren, (3) great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
