Willie James "Bub" Thomas was born January 23, 1944 in Covington, Georgia to his mother Sallie Mae (Dumas) Frazier, and father William T. Tuggle.

Willie (Bub) was preceded in death by his mother, and brother Frank L. Thomas.

Willie (Bub) left behind his (3 )sons, Charles Thomas, Kevin Brunner, and William Thomas, along with his daughter Daija Thomas and  partner Leslie Longmire. Willie also had a host grandchildren that he left to cherish his memories.

During his lifetime, Willie was admired by people from all walks of life for his intelligence, wisdom, and character. He was a man who could give so much, with very few words, and for this he will forever be remembered and carried in the hearts and minds of many. Amongst many things, Willie (Bub) was also known as a Veteran, lover of fishing, and his passion for traveling. He was well known for his sharp business skills and his innate sense of direction. He took his last breath here on Earth February 12, 2019, but his spirit will live on through the strong legacy he left in his bloodline, and through the many hearts he touched throughout his 75 years.
