William Mitchell II, (Billy), 69, departed this earthly life on May 1, 2017. He was a life time resident of the Akron community where he worked many years for the City of Akron in the Sanitation Department. William was a member of the Children of The I AM Church and a graduate of South High School class of 1965. Preceded in death by father, Charles Sr.; brother, Charles Jr.; brother-in-law, Lawrence and niece, LahKeyah; he is survived by mother, Minnie: son, William III; Daughters, Rochelle, Robyn, Ranetta and Ranita Mitchell; sisters, Cathy Butler and Allison (Kenneth) Smith; special cousins, Leonard Mitchell and Roland Peters; grandchildren, Latash, James Jr., Kennede, Halanah and Wynter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
