Willa Mae Watson was born January 1, 1920 in Cartersville, GA to Will Giles and Mattie Lee Craig and completed her journey on March 10, 2015
Moved to Akron at an early age living here for many years before recently moving to Texas to be with family.
Deeply rooted in the word and will of God, she was a founding member and mother of Zion Temple Baptist Church. She remained active in church activities as a counselor and advisor as well as in Sunday School, Mission, the Mother's Board and Women's Ministry.
She touched countless lives with her prayers, guidance, quick wit, wisdom and humor.
Willa was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carroll, Moses, Arthur, Herman, Stanley and son Clarence Giles (Josie).
She is survived by sons Moses Giles, Everett Neal Watson, daughter Jeanette (Robert) Hill, her grandchildren Christy (Billy) Spiller, Tomia Camille Bushner, Kyndal (LaDarius) Banks, Robert Hill III and great grandchildren Tevin Dillard, Tajanaye Spiller TreJon Spiller, LaDawn (Colton) Coleman, Dominque (Justen) Gates, Detrick (Phanta) Spiller, Billy (Ashantee) Spiller,Jr., Kinsley, Jamiri and Amaya and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Her godchildren, Ethel (Alan) Whack, Pastor Mark Anthony (Barbara) Ward and Raymond Hinton. Lifelong friends Beatrice Grundy, Marilyn Bobo, Vivian Price and her Zion Temple family, neighbors and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, March 21st at Zion Temple Baptist Church, 515 Ardella Avenue, Akron, OH 44306 at 11 am. Viewing at 10 am.
