Wanda Jean Proctor was born to the union of George Cambell Proctor and Gertrude Milton Proctor on December 16, 1938. She departed this world on March 9, 2024, at 85 years young.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude Proctor; her sister, Mary Proctor Murray; and her oldest son, Rodney Proctor.

She worked several years of her life having a variety of different jobs. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio in 1938 and moved to Akron in 1957. She attended Community Fellowship Chapel for at least 20-25 years. She also helped around the church by cleaning and helping those in need with a partner called Clothes Closet for Kings Kitchen. She was also active in the church choir for a number of years.

She leaves to celebrate her life, her son, Christopher Proctor, Sr.' granddaughters, A'Keah Thompson and Christianna Proctor; grandson, Christopher Proctor, Jr.; three great granddaughters, Mar'Keah, Ashanti, and Aleeah; six great grandsons, Kyland, Giovanni, G'Kari, Prince Gerald, Messiah and Makhai; niece, Yolanda Jackson "Winkie"; and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
