Wanda's journey of life began on December 24, 1952, to the late Nathaniel and Rosie Mae Rodgers, Sr and completed her journey on December 30, 2022, after a short illness. She was a life resident of Akron and attended Akron Public Schools. She was wedded to Curtis Lewis, Jr and to this union they had three children. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Zion Temple Baptist Church. She enjoyed a good card game; Spades was her game and spending time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Barbara Lewis, sons Curtis (Kari Wright) Lewis III and Nathan (Jasmine Carter)Lewis, husband Curtis Lewis, Jr, Grandchildren Edward and Andrayah Montgomery, Ahlayla Lewis, Lex Lewis, and Kaley Robinson; Sisters Linda (Robert) Price of all of Akron, OH, Deatrice Jackson of Halsell, AL; Brothers Richard (Linda) Rodgers of Akron, OH, Ronnie Rodgers of St. Paul, MN, Nathaniel (Synia) Rodgers, Jr of Cedar Hill, TX; Sister In-Laws Laurie Rodgers of Fort Worth, TX, Teresa Young, Mary Smith, and Paula Wray all of Akron, OH; Brother In-Law Marshall Lewis of Akron, OH; special nephew Delbert Harvey of Akron, OH; special cousin Connie Davis of Akron, OH and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Family Visitation will be held January 7, 2023, at 11:00am followed by Celebration of Life Service at 12:00pm at Rhoden Memorial Home 1101Palmetto Ave., Akron, OH 44306. Condolences may be sent to 350 Sumatra Ave., Akron, OH 44305.
