Wanda Jean Cheek "Jeannie" went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2017. Wanda was born on July 2, 1946. She graduated from Sandy Valley High School Class of 1966. Wanda worked at TRW, LTV, Canton Healthcare and caring for her mother. Wanda was a longtime member of Greater Bethel Apostolic. She moved her membership to Asbury Chapel AME in Waynesburg. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul W. and Viva Cheek; grandparents, Lawrence, Sr. and Susie Cheek, Eddie Lee and Novie Rodgers; uncles, Edmond Rodgers and Elkin Cheek; aunt Beatrice Cheek; nephew Michael Cheek.  Wanda is  survived by her loving son Bryan (Vicki) Cheek; brothers, Michael (Veronica) Cheek, Shelly (Louise) Bishop; sisters, Linda Cheek, Paulette (Johnny) McLendon, Suzan (Arvester) Lowe; uncles, Earl Cheek, Lawrence, Jr. (Marie) Cheek, James (Ruth) Cheek; special friends, Tommy Brown, Gary Huntley, Arthur Barnes and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
