Vivian Young Hall Parker, 97 of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Vivian, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday May 4, 2015, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Young and Bettie Calloway. Vivian was a dedicated member of Mount Calvary Second Baptist Church of Canton, she served on the Missionary Board and also enjoyed singing in the choir to the glory of God, at a blessed age of 97 she was a very independent, strong-minded, loving, and pleasant lady, anyone who spent time in her presence will agree that she had a very warm and welcoming personality about her. Vivian was preceded in death by her late husband, Eugene B. Hall, who passed away in 1962 and Edward Parker, Sr., who passed away in 1985; one grandson, Curtis Eugene Hall; eight sisters, Chaney Marie Johnson, Mattie Bushnell, Annie Lee Wilson, Rae Etta Graves, Carrie Mae Jones, Lenora Hunter, Grace Carter; and four brothers, Lawrence S. Young Sr., Robert Henry Young, Everett Emanuel Young, Charles Flemon Young Sr. Vivian leaves to cherish her memory a very devoted daughter and caregiver, Claudia Daniels; sister-in-laws, Ruth Young of Danville, Ky., Phyllis Farber Young of Manchester N.J.; Fannie Lewis of Forkland, AL, Georgia Mae Plaskette of Jacksonville, FL and Bernice Benison of Detroit MI., Granddaughter, Gloria Massey; four grandsons, Phillip Parker, Edward Parker Jr. Marion and Morgan Massey; three godsons, Victor Bell (Alicia), Vernon Bell (Andrea), and Rev. Vaughn Bell (Chanera) all of Canton, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family of Vivian Parker would like to extend a special thank you to Aultman Hospice caregivers.
