On September 2, 1933 Virginia Bell Bentley was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Bessie Moore and Ernest Johnson. She departed this life on July 8, 2019. Virginia attended Canton City Schools. For 25 years she was employed as a cafeteria worker for Canton City Schools. In  addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Kim Bentley-Colbert as well as (5) sisters and (2) brothers.

Virginia is survived by her children: (2) daughters, Aquila (Richard) Moore of Louisville, Kentucky and Bonnie Bentley of Canton; (4) sons, Clinton Bentley, Sr. of Columbus, Archie Bentley II of Cleveland, Larry Bentley and Jeffrey Bentley, Sr. of Canton; her only surviving sibling, Ruth Mathews; (1) daughter-in-law, Gladys Bentley of Canton. She was blessed with (15) grandchildren and (25) great-grandchildren as well as several great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
