Viola Smith was born May 11, 1940 in Demopolis, Alabama to the late Leonard and Lou Virginia Smith.  She departed this life on August 19, 2017 following an extended illness.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio.  Viola was a member of Mt. Calvary 2nd Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Smith; mother, Lou Virginia Smith; twin sister, Cleola Smith ; brothers, Leonard Smith, Jr. and Joseph   Nathan Smith as well as two additional infant twin siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory (4)  brothers: George Smith of Canton, Doug Smith (Josephine) of Canton, Dave Smith (Gertha) of Canton and Frank Smith (Debbie) of Arizona; (6) nieces: Candi, Tanya, Robin, Kiva, Lori and Lenora; (1) nephew, Martin and many additional relatives and friends.
