Vidie C. Mitchell, 96, went Home to be with the lord on February 11, 2024. She was born on March 7, 1927 in Coosa City, Alabama to the late Bennie and Estelle Martin.

Vidie loved being at home sewing, doing puzzles and watching her stories.

She is preceded in death by her husband, McDonald Mitchell; sons, Ronnie, Dawayne, and Greg Mitchell; and with seven siblings.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, children, Bernard (Judith) Mitchell, Jackie Mitchell, Sandra (Rolland) Mitchell and Melvin Mitchell; she also leaves 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
