Reflection of a Queen
Victoria Lynn Davis
Victoria Lynn Davis, age 66 was born in Canton, Ohio to the late George and Mary Alice Davis on September 12, 1953. She departed this life and gained her heavenly reward on December 8, 2019 following an extended illness.
Victoria accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. Floyd Summers. She was a 1971 graduate of Canton McKinley High School and a graduate of Raedel Business College. After graduation she moved to Chicago, IL. and then Atlanta, GA. In Atlanta she worked for Dun & Bradstreet as an Executive Secretary. She later returned to Canton and began her business career at Key Bank for 20 years. As an entrepreneur she successfully ran Rainbow Tots Child Care Center for 15 years until her health started to fail.
Victoria was also known as Vicki, Ms. Vicki, Aunt Vicki or Granas. She loved to spend time with family, travel and plan events. The most memorable event was her annual Christmas party. She was the Queen of her family and was the glue that held everyone together. She loved basketball especially Lebron James. She took her love of travel and hosting events and then founded a sister circle: Ladies on the Move (L.O.T.M.) founding members: Teresa, Charlene, Margaret, Cheryl, Treasure, Rosetta, the late Valerie Pryor, Kitti and Sharon. These ladies truly enjoyed life. The loves of her life were her grandchildren. She spoiled them and they always knew "Granas" had their back and would give them anything they wanted. She will truly be missed.
