Vickie L. Pope, age 67 of Canton, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at Mercy Medical Hospital.  She was born in Massillon, Ohio, April 19, 1954.

Vickie attended Massillon - Washington High School and also worked as a nurses aide at Shalem Nursing Home for several years.  Vickie was devoted to her children and family.  She enjoyed reliving her childhood stories on Tremont in Massillon.  She loved    being with family and listening to oldies but goodies music.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Eugene Pope; sisters, Shirley, Norma, and Reba Pope, Virginia Stovall and Bessie Moore; brothers, Thomas, Philip, and Robert Pope.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her (5) daughters, Keecha Pope, Shreese Pope (Fred Gadison), Christina Burney, and Hope Dubose; sons, James Pope (Tiffine Phifer), Clarence (Rochelle) Burney, Charles Ferguson, William Ferguson, and Christopher Burney; (2) sisters, Martha Bryant and Margaret Pope both of Massillon, Ohio; brother, Malcome Pope of Akron, Ohio; grandkids, Morgan, Christian, Dominique, Daziah, Marjae, Maliyah, Jleshia, Zaviee, Rajean, Christian Cheek, James Jr., Adasha, Javia, Drea, Jamierre, Jayle, Trezjon, and Tyrique, as well as a host of great grandkids, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
