Mom….

Veronica (Roni) Shippe, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend, departed her earthly body for her heavenly home on April 12th, 2023, at the age of 73.

Preceded in death by parents Walter and Nora Mae Scott, and her beloved grandson Jayden Shippe.

Veronica leaves to mourn her passing brother Neal (Marlene) Brown, sister Patricia McCraney, daughters Deirdra and Shannon, Grandchildren Jordan Jennings and Cheyenne Shippe, special sons Anthony Bibby, Donald Jones, and Keith Smith, special daughter Stephanie Malone, good friends Patty Watters and Dorothea (cousin Dee) Hunt and many family members and friends who will miss her laugh, infectious smile, and quick wit.

We will miss our little big girl dearly.

At our mother's request, there will be no service. This was her wish, and we will honor and respect this. A gathering to celebrate her memory will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to the Jayden Shippe Lane scholarship at Kent State University.
