Veronica Kay Ford, 67, of Canton, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2020.

She was born on Sunday, September 27, 1953 to James and Phyllis Jackson in Canton, Ohio.  She was a 1972 graduate of McKinley High School.  She accepted the Lord at an early age.  She loved her grandparents, Pastor Wright and Mother Survenure Byrom.  She traveled and supported their ministry for many years. "Cookie" as she was affectionately known, loved her church, loved her family and loved people in general. Cookie had a heart of gold and would give a helping hand to anyone that needed it.  She was the family's "Glamour Girl"

Sis. Veronica loved the Lord.  She worked in the hospitality department and was a part of the kitchen crew at the church.  She took the time to introduce herself to our visitors and made them feel welcome.  She loved her church and loved her Pastor. Sis. Veronica Ford was preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Ford.  Her mother Phyllis Jackson; grandparents, Pastor/Elder & Mother Wright Byrom; brothers-in-love, Leroy Young and Cleveland Battle.

She leaves to celebrate her life, her children, Michele (Robert) McCorkle of Cincinatti, Oh., Garland Mack, her daughter and caretaker, Pennie Ford, and youngest daughter, Tiffany Ford all of Canton, Ohio; siblings, Annie Young of Taylor, Mi., James (Wanda) Jackson, of San Antonia, Tx., Cheryl Battle of Canton, Oh., Rhonda (Benjamin) Ferguson of Akron, Oh., Linda Jackson of Murfreesboro, Tn., Tony Virden of Akron, Oh., and Jeffrey (Marchelle) Jackson of Lewis Center, Oh.; (6) grandchildren; (3) great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
