Velma U. Henderson, age 66, passed away Monday, December 25. 2017. She was born March 11, 1951 in Troy, Alabama. Velma attended McKinley High School. She loved Pepsi, Law & Order, and the Dallas Cowboys. Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca Hall and McKinley Henderson, her step-father James Hall Sr. and sister, Gail Nero. She is survived by her daughters, Catrice Rhodes and Keisha Atkinson, her grandsons, Ryan Rhodes, Brandon Rhodes, and Kaden Atkinson, her sister, Janice Hall-Harris, her brother, James Hall Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews.
