On Sunday, June 10, 2018 God called Vallie Thompson home to be with him at the age of 91 years old. She was born on June 22, 1927 in Mississippi to her parents, Willie Parker and Mabel Stevenson. She was a faithful member of Open Door Assembly Church. Vallie is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Parker and Mabel Stevenson; son, Willie Edward Price; grandson, James T. Price; and a host of sisters, brothers and step-children. She leaves to forever cherish her loving memory, brothers, Joe Willie parker (Jarmaron), Joe B. Parker both of Mississippi and Eddie (Anne) Stevenson of Akron; sisters, Earlene (Gene) Adams of Mississippi and Loretta Parker of Akron; best friends and neighbors, Lavonia Brooks, Gloria Thomas, Ella Jude and Rev Thompkins; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Price; 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.
