Valencia "Donyell" McCall-Ray got her wings on February 22, 2021 at the age of 53 after a long fight of cancer.

She was employed by the Home Helpers of Barberton, Ohio for over four years as an STNA.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Summer Croskey; grandmother, Bessie Mae McCall and her step father, Willie B. Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Kiarra and KaDarra Prevo of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, KaMari Hendree, Major Hendree, Kovauni Glenn and K'Launi-Dior Prevo-Glenn all of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Arthur "Levell" McCall of Akron, Reginald Shawn Taylor, Brandon Taylor of Akron, Lee (Samantha) McCall of Montgomery, Alabama, and Cedrick (Shaunda) Croskey of Montgomery, Alabama; sisters,  Sonya (Leo) Moncriel of Montgomery, Alabama, Lesa (Travis) Hold of Montgomery, Alabama, LaVonda (Eddie) Moncriel of Montgomery, Alabama, Valencia Brown of Mobile, Alabama; nieces, Brittany McCall, Artasia Heath of Detroit, Michigan, and Jasmine of Akron; nephews, Sean Taylor and Jayden Richardson; special friends, Sabrina Lockhart Cherish Delaney, and Jeri Weems; boyfriend, Mark Lewis; and a host of cousins, other relative and friends.
