Tyler S. Lancaster, affectionately known as T-Lo, was born on December 21, 1994 to Tiana and Eric Lancaster in Canton, Ohio. He departed this life on February 1, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. Tyler attended Plain Local schools and graduated from GlenOak High School in June 2013. He started playing football at the age of eight and became one of the best cornerbacks to come out of Stark County. He also ran track for GlenOak and earned numerous awards in both sports. One of his most notable achievements included running in the Jr. Olympics for the 100-meter dash and placing ninth in the nation. He also participated in the NFL's National 7-on-7 Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana with the Cleveland Browns in July 2012. Following high school in 2013, Tyler attended Muskingum University to further his education and football career. He was one of the best defensive backs in the conference. In fall 2015, he decided to transfer to Michigan State University to pursue football in the Big Ten Conference. Although he was red-shirted that year, he earned a ring for his role in helping the team to secure the Big Ten Conference Championship. In fall 2016, Tyler returned to Muskingum University to complete his college career. T-Lo was popular and well-liked amongst his peers. He had a very quiet and humble demeanor, but his smile was infectious. He had many special friends and touched many lives. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Barbara Winn; and his Aunt Lana Winn, who was like a second mother to him. Tyler is survived by his parents Tiana Lancaster of Columbus, Ohio, Eric (Sara) Lancaster of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; brothers Cameron Winn and Travon Bazen of Canton, Ohio; (6)step-sisters, Asia, Alea, Trinitee, Sara, Sarinitee, Brooklynn; paternal grandmother, Helen Lancaster of Canton, Ohio; paternal grandfather, Charles Lancaster of Salisbury, South Carolina; aunts, Deborah Williams, Laura (Wesley) Moore, Tammy (Greg) Boudreaux, Tonya Winn, Stachia (Bernard) Manson, Valarie Lancaster, Mariantonia Winn; uncles, Charles (Celia) Lancaster, George (Ronnie) Lancaster, Mark (Heidi) Lancaster, Phillip (Tina) Lancaster, Randall (Rhonda) Winn, Reddrick Winn as well as a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
