Timothy Lee Singleton's Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Timothy Lee Singleton, affectionately known as "Tim or Timmy." He departed this life on June 5, 2025, at the age of 57. Tim was born in Canton, Ohio. He was a cherished son, a loyal friend, and a devoted brother. He brought warmth, laughter, and strength into the lives of those who knew him. His kind heart, sharp wit, and unwavering support for those he loved will always be remembered. Tim was born to Celestine Cook and was preceded in death by his father, Ballard Cook. Timothy was raised in a home built on love, faith, and resilience. He was a beloved brother to sisters, Joan Singleton, Juanita Hill (R.C. Jr.), Laree Edgecombe (Leland), Wanda Cook Burns (Steve), and brother Antonio Cook (Anita); their bond remained solid throughout his life. To his Aunt Bubbie (Naomi Freeman)—his second mother—Tim was forever her child, and he cherished her deeply. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He loved them all! One of Timothy's proudest titles was Father. He leaves behind his cherished children: sons Justin and Brandon and his daughter Ava, each of whom carries his spirit, strength, and unwavering love. Timothy was a man of many skills, defined by quiet dignity and hard work. He worked as a Manager at the Washington Compression Company. He obtained his Commercial Driver's License required to operate large vehicles and was also certified as an Emergency First Responder. He had a natural gift for connecting with people, offering both guidance and humor at just the right moments. He stood tall through life's challenges and always made room for others to lean on him when they needed support. Whether spending time with his children, burning tread with his biker buddies, or simply offering a helping hand, Tim lived a life rooted in service, family, and faith. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy will live on through the laughter he created with family and friends.

"Well done, thy good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23

We love you, Bimmy.
