Tierra Latese Snipes-Terrell was born May 18, 1989 in Akron, Ohio to Henrietta Gisselle Terrell and Phillip Snipes. She attended Akron Public Schools and joined the workforce as soon as she was old enough to work. She moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2020 where she worked in the hospitality business until her untimely passing on March 29, 2023.

Tierra was a lively and energetic spirit who loved to cook, spend time with friends and family. She was a hard worker, she enjoyed music, playing cards and she was always known for a good laugh. She will be long remembered for being a hard worker and for her jokes and sense of humor.

Tierra is preceded in death by her mother Henrietta Giselle Terrell and her grandparents Buelah Lee Prophet Terrel, William Henry Terrell, Willie May Snipes and George Clark. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Phillip Snipes; three sons- SirVontae Parker (11), Derion (8) and Zander (7) Terrell; sisters Sierra Terrell, Marlo Owens, Toya Eaddy, Tomika Coleman, Sonet Vinson; brothers Phil (Micah) Jones, Marcus Owens; Godsister Shakira Williams; best friend Shayla Gibson and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
