Parker, Jr.
October 24, 1946 – February 13, 2026
Thomas Martin Parker, Jr., age 79, passed away on February 13, 2026, surrounded by his family and close friends. Born on October 24, 1946, to the late Thomas Milton and Margaret (Johnson) Parker, Thomas found great joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A dedicated member of his community, Thomas served actively as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing, and was a gifted athlete. Thomas began his career at Whitacre & Greer and married his first love, Deborah Wesley, on June 29, 1968. He worked at Republic Storage Systems for 46 years and, upon his retirement, became his father's caregiver. Thomas leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his laughter, charm, memories, and wit for eternity: his devoted wife of fifty-seven years Deborah Parker of Canton, his children, Terri (Santura) Freeman of Canton, Thomas Micheal Parker of Canton, Sean Parker of Canton, and Martin Parker of Canton; six beloved grandchildren Katelynn (Chase) Kimbrough-Polk, Austin Kimbrough, Porcia Parker, Terrence Freeman, Gavin Freeman, and Kali Parker; two great grandsons Chase (CJ) Polk and Kameron (Kam Kam) Polk. Sister-in-law Sandra Clark-Kamaly of Chicago, IL, Sister-in-law Cathy (Brian) Jones of Canton, and brother-in-law Curtis Clark of Los Angeles. The special family of Thomas included all his nieces and nephews, Aunt Connie Williams, and Gertha Smith. Exceptional and close friends, Mel and Linda Sprouse. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers Howard Parker and Dale Parker.
