Thomas A. Wicks Jr. also known as "Boob" walked peacefully into the arms of the Lord on December 9, 2024. Thomas was on born April 17,1959 in Akron, Ohio to the late Thomas A, Wicks Sr. and Jean Wicks. He attended Akron North High School. Thomas worked several years at St. Thomas Hospital and then advanced his career to Chyrsler and relocated to Michigan where he retired in September 2023. Thomas hobbies included working out, cooking, watching football, basketball and any good movie that drew his attention. Thomas had a sense of humor that would have you smiling even if you were having your worse day. He gave everyone a nick name "Monkey" and often o ered bananas. Thomas loved his family and wanted the best for the younger generation and would share and also obtain knowledge on various topics with his children, grandchildren, nieces and friends. Thomas spent most his time with his mother "Jean Wicks". Thomas was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor and dear friend to many. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He always spoke encouraging and kind words to all he met. Boob will always be remembered for his humorous personality giving heart and loving spirit. Thomas was preceded in death by his father Thomas A, Wicks Sr. , his nephews Jeremiah D Wicks and Paris D. Wicks II. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Jean Wicks, lifelong companion Stephanie Mills (FL) , wife Pam Wicks (NJ) his daughters Taryn Wicks (NM) Camrielle Wicks (NJ) sons Marshawn and Jamar Wicks of Akron, Ohio, extended children Yolanda and Maurice Ford (NJ). sisters Taryn Stephanie Starks (CA), Benita Wicks (CA), Michelle Andrews (CA). brothers Jerry Wicks (OH) Paris (Brigitte) Wicks (MI) grandchildren Brayden and Alaynah Ladany (OH) Jayla Wicks, Jamar Wicks(OH) Gio Wicks (NM) Kylen Wicks, Jayce Wicks (NJ) special granddaughter Aleiyha Tell (FL) . special niece Shelby (CA) special cousin Jamaica Heil (OH) best. friends Tony Banks , Mike Boykins. and Danny Dragg. and he will also be missed by a host of loving nieces. nephews and cousins as well as special friends.
