Theresa Griffin Williams born on April 12, 1946 went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2015 at Akron City Hospital. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth L. Griffin; brother, Ricky Griffin and nephew Bahati Griffin. She leaves to mourn her passing sons, Rodney Griffin of Columbus, Ohio, and Darrick Griffin of Akron, Ohio; daughter Melissa Williams-Cobb of Akron, Ohio; father Nathaniel Griffin Sr.; brothers, Nathaniel Griffin Jr., and Gregory (Debbie) Griffin; step-son, Arthur Durham; sisters, Lauvoun (Bonnie) Griffin-Bynoe, Matilda "Christine" (Lorenzo) Griffin and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be held on Monday July 6, 2015 at 12 noon at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church 180 Edwards Ave Akron, Ohio 44310. Family will receive friends from  11 a.m. Interment will be held at Mt. Peace cemetery.
