Theodore "T.J." L. Johnson, age 63, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center with family by his side.  T.J. was born May 17, 1956 in Canton, Ohio.  He graduated from McKinley High School and shortly after received his certificate in Ministry.  If anything, driving a brand-new car made T.J. happy.  T.J. loved spending time with his family, especially taking his great nieces and great nephews to the store and the park.  T.J. will always be known as a "Jack Of All Trades".  He will be deeply missed.  Preceded in death by his mother Frances Torrence; stepfather, William O. Torrence; sister, Betty J. Davis.  Survived by his daughters, Sanathan Byrd and Angela Johnson both of Canton, Ohio; brother, Willie "Diddy" Moore; sister, Lillie "Cuda" Gaines, Charlene Johnson, and Francena "Honee" Torrence all of Canton, Ohio; aunt, Lillie M. Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA; special friend, Tawnya Haverstock; close cousin, Gerald Long both of Canton, Ohio; (3) grandchildren, Nyja, Raymond and Ty'Chiena Byrd all of Canton, Ohio; (6) great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
