Thelma Jean Thurman, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 10, 2018.  She was born September 6, 1950 to the union of W. C. Thurman and Thelma Milton Thurman in St. Louis, Missouri.  She was one of six children.  Beloved by all who knew her, Thelma was a recent resident of Massillon, OH where she created many lasting relationships at Life Ministries International Church and JRC Adult Day Center.

Thelma left a special message to all her family and friends:

"My legacy to my family and friends is to put God first in your life.  I leave you my savior and friend Jesus.  Wear a smile even when life is getting you down, for you will see that your life will be richer than you ever thought it could be."         - Jean

Thelma Jean is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willie Thurman and Ray Woods, and sister-in-law Beatrice Thurman.

She is survived by her siblings:  Paul Thurman (Arnita) of Louisiana, Mary Simmons (Welton), Miki D Moore, and sister-in-law Doris Thurman all of St. Louis, MO.  Thelma's legacy lives through her children:  LaFlovia A. Ginanni (Eric), Clinton Thurman, and Jonathan Thurman of Massillon, OH, Christina Thurman, Diontay Thurman, Clineshia Thurman and Mark Thurman of Louisiana; grandson, Eric Paul Ginanni and bonus granddaughter Ariel Deck of Ohio, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
