Thad  Felding, Jr., "TJ," went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was born on April 19, 1926 to Thad and Hannah Fielding, Sr..

Thad Jr. attended public schools in McBean, Georgia soon after he joined the United States Maries were he served from April 16, 1952 to April 17, 1954 where he was honorably discharged receiving a National Defense Medal.

Thad Jr then moved his wife and first child to Akron, Ohio where he started to work for the City of Akron in the sanitation department for 25 years and also joining his wife Hattie in becoming a foster parent for 30 years after retiring from both. TJ started  his work in plastering and continuing until her couldn't do it anymore. He also was a member of North Hill Community Church.

Thad (TJ) was preceded in death by his parents, Thad and Hannah Fielding, Sr.; brothers, Lindsey (Nancy) Fielding, Isadore (Neil) Fielding, Alonzo Fielding, and RC (Laura) Fielding; sisters, Elizabeth Stone, Rose Belton and Addie (Willie) Yancy; daughter, Oreatha Level; grandchildren, Samone Felding, and Anthony and Antonio Felding; and great grandson, Yaness Johnson.

TJ leave to cherish his memory, wife, hattie Felding; daughter, Linda Felding; sons, Thad Felding lll, William Felding, Robert Felding, Anthony (Kim) Felding and Calvin Felding; sisters, Lois Garnett and Luretha Boyd; best friends, Mr. Pool, Mr. Stallworth, Mr. Calvin and Mr. Easter; sister-in-law, Neil Fielding; 27 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; also a host of cousins, family members and friends.
