Terry D. Harris, affectionately known as "Slick" by friends and "Uncle Buck" by his nieces and nephews, passed away peacefully in his home on August 21, 2021.  He was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Grady Gilmer and Phyllis Harris Taylor.

Terry enjoyed being around his family, barbecuing on the grill, partying, and dancing at the family reunions.  Terry was always the life of the party.  To known Terry was to love him.  He will forever be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Gilmer; maternal grandfather, Mr. Charles R. Broyles; stepfather, Dennis Dudley.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Tovah McRoy; granddaughter, Jazae Brown, grandson, Jamal Brown; grandmother, Elenora Broyles; brother, Raymond Roberts; sisters, Robin Walker, Chrystal Gilmer, and Tammy Dudley; close friends, Gregory Williams, Kenny Stroud, and Carolyn Grizzard, as well as a host of other relatives and friends…. All of which He Love Dearly!
