Tanaro L.
Pounds
October 24, 2004 – December 12, 2025
Tanaro Pounds, born on October 24, 2004, passed away on December 12, 2025. Though his life was far too short, Tanaro left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beloved son, brother, partner, father, uncle, and friend whose love, laughter, and spirit will live on forever.
Tanaro was a proud and devoted father to his three children: his daughters, Brielle Pounds and Melody Pounds, and his son, Tanaro Pounds Jr. His children were the center of his world, and he found his greatest happiness in spending time with them—playing, laughing, and creating memories they will carry with them always.
He is survived by his father Terrence Pounds Sr, mother, Michelle Pounds, brothers, Robert Marino, Malik Cash, Terrence Pounds Jr., and Tre'Vonne Pounds; and his sisters, Da'Qunette McClure, Raniece McClure, Tiyiresa Pounds, and KaNaejah Campbell, grandparents, Jonetta Pounds, Frank Wilson Jr, Clyde Mitchell, Juanell Torrence and his loving partner, Danyeil Petrey.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Torrence, great grandmother Dorothy Stewart. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him deeply.
Tanaro had a deep love for music and enjoyed expressing himself through it. He also loved playing video games and basketball, passions that brought him joy and connection with those around him. Whether on the court, in front of a screen, or surrounded by family, Tanaro was happiest when he was laughing and having fun.
Known for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor, Tanaro could make anyone smile. His laugh was contagious and unforgettable, and it will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Above all, Tanaro loved his family more than anything, and that love was evident in everything he did.
Though he is no longer with us, Tanaro's legacy lives on through his children, his family, and the countless memories he created. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
