Stephanie Dishawn Smith, age 51, left this earthly home on January 9, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1972, in Akron, Ohio to the union of Marilyn L. and Howard W. Cooper, the second of two children. She was a member of the Akron community for over fifty years.

She attended Marget Park Elementary School, St. Mary's, West Jr. High School and Buchtel High School. She married Dillian Ricardo Smith lll, January of 1988 and to this union were five children; Dishawna, Dillian llll, Brandon, Devon and D'Angela.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Waymond Cooper; and son, Devon Marquis Smith.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, mother, Marilyn Cooper; sister, Franita (Clarron) Cooper; children, Dishawna Smith, Dillian Smith llll, Brandon Smith, D'Angela Smith and Johnny Chapman; grandchildren, Ra'Ion Smith, Tainay Doctor, A'Jah Smith, Lilliana Doctor, Kyng Karter, Armani Smith, Kalya Smith, Devonnae Bledsoe and Makenna Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
