Staff Sergeant John C. Eutsey Sr., age 82 of Canton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2015. John was born on December 11, 1932 in Union Springs, Alabama. He dedicated his service to the United States Army & National Guard for 25 years. Amidst his accolades he has received medals for National Defense Service, Korean Service, Army of Occupation with Japan clasp and The United Nations Service. John served as the president for the V.F.W. Post 3417 for 7 years. He was also the president of Eutsey Enterprise. A faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church he was loved by his church family. His love for old cars kept him on the go. John enjoyed his life, he had a heart to protect and serve his country. To say he adored his family and friends is an understatement. There is nothing he wouldn't do for his loved ones. John is preceded in death by his parents West and Pauline Eutsey; step-daughter Zackeryette Williams, and grandson Shawn Pirolozzi. He leaves to cherish his loving memory two sons John C. Eutsey Jr. and Edward Eutsey ; step children Aleathia Smith, Milton Bledson, Marvin Bledson, Clate (Chuckie)Willis; grandchildren John Smith, John Pirolozzi, Michael Swogger, Ricco Rodriguez, Amber Eutsey, Stanley Broyles, Charles Broyles, Trinika Eutsey, Alana Bledson, Tywala Bledson, Tellie Bledson, Terria Bledson and special friend Bernell Willis. John will be deeply missed by his children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host family and friends.
