Shirley A. Williams went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic in Akron, Ohio. Born in Harlan, Kentucky, she had lived in the community for 69 years. She was a member of Unity Church of God in Christ and served as a greeter.

Shirley was preceded in death by parents, John Rider and Beulah Rider Pearson.

She is survived by sons, Elder Anthony Bell (Carmen), Ray Bell, and Gordon Bell; Daughters, Joanne (Galen) Bias, Carla (Ricky) McDaniel, and Wanda Marquardt all of Akron, Ohio; 26 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
