Shirley Edwards-Tolbert, 59, passed away after an extended illness on February 8, 2018. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 23, 1959. She attended South High School and was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, significant other, Eddie Sperling; son, Samuel Wayne Tolbert; brother, Christopher (April) Tramell; grandchildren, Saniyah and Samuel Jr.; favorite aunt and uncle, Sandra and Edward Terry; ,along with a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Peoples Baptist Church 525 Vernon Odom Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44307. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. Pastor Derrick Willis, eulogizing.
