Shirley Ann Cundiff left this life September 11, 2023, ascending to be in the peaceful arms of our heavenly Father. Born May 19, 1953, in Alliance, OH and moving to Canton, OH around the age of 5 with her parents Robert James Cundiff Sr. and Emma Francis Cameron Cundiff. She married Alton Lee Curtis Sr. and to this union bore three beloved children. She loved music, dancing, writing poems, reading, and shopping. Shirley was proud of having read the Bible front to back three times; her most notable scripture was Romans 12:18. She loved going to church and worshiping the Lord. Serving God and His people was not a hard task for her. If she thought she could do something to help, she would. She instilled the importance of a relationship with God in her children at a young age and ensured they attended and were active in church. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Emma Cundiff Sr.; brothers Charles, John Allen, Robert Jr., Lawrence, David, William, George, and Thomas Cundiff; sisters Helen Dickson, Mary Griffin, Norma Weatherspoon, Gloria Hardy and Constance Talley. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Tracy Curtis of Canton, OH; Sophia (Kevin) Swindler of Cleveland, OH; son Alton Lee (Faren) Curtis Jr. of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
