Sheryl was born on March 12,1951 in Akron, Ohio at St. Thomas Hospital to Thomas and Dorenda White. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother Aunt and Friend. Sheryl is proceeded in death by her Parents Thomas and Dorenda White, ex Husband Raymond Averiett Sr. Brother Flex Wynn, sister Sarah White Blackmon, Grandson Tyron Phelps, most beloved aunt Thelma Horton and Dearest friends Mary Prude & Sheryl Stafford.

Sheryl was most known for being known. Everyone knew and Loved Sheryl and Sheryl knew everybody. Sheryl loved shopping and wanted the best of whatever she was purchasing, from her large collection of shoes and expensive handbags and perfumes to her exquisite comforters and linens. Sheryl Loved family and often took trips to Chicago and Tampa for visits and gatherings. Throughout the 80's and 90's Sheryl was an avid concert goer never missing The Cincinnati Jazz Festival. Sheryl was always the life of conversation with her wit and laughter and vivid imagination for family stories of the past.

Sheryl was employed at Warrensville Developmental center from 1978 to 2009, Where she fostered many friendships as an employee and caregiver. She married Raymond Averiett Sr in 1966 and to their union brought forth 3 Sons before divorcing in 2008

Sheryl is survived by her three sons Raymond Leon Averiett Jr. (Toka) Ronald Lemar Averiett Sr. and her baby Samuel Darshawn Averiett. Sheryl also played a significate role as second mother to Ronald Haynes Grandchildren Betty "China"Farrey (Aaron} of Royse City, Tx., Brittany Averiett, Raymone Averiett, Aaron Fender, Ronaysha Averiett, Marshae Smith, Jadia Averiett, Ronald Averiett Jr, Rayshawn Averiett, Jonte Averiett. All of Akron, five great grandchildren Ashton, Savannah, Cartier, Haniyah and Alaya. Her closest cousins that were like sisters to her Zenobia Hood and Harriet Thompkins

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Trina Lee, Jack Shaw, and Shay for all their help for our dear mother and aunt.
