Sherry was a loving soul filled with joy and love, and anybody she met instantly fell in love with her. She was known for her pound cakes, dressing and caramel popcorn.
She graduated from North High School in 1977. She was a member of Greater Bethel House of Hope. A 28-year member of Black Women of JAHA where she was the sunbeam leader making sure that everyone received cards for their special occasions.
