Shelia Jean Jones of Canton, Ohio born on March 29, 1957 to the late Roy J. and Eloise Pearson Jones, Sr. was called home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2018.  Sheila enjoyed spending time at her grandparents home in her childhood.  They taught her many things like fishing and cooking.  She also enjoyed music, dancing, and reading books.  She obtained her STNA license in 2006 and later attended Stark State College to become a social worker (a long time dream of hers). Sheila leaves with us her beautiful upbeat personality.  She was a strong woman and anyone who came in contact with her never doubted that about her.  She was a firm believer in Christ and spoke highly of His name whether rain or sunshine.   So today we celebrate her home going and know that she is no longer in pain, but in Heaven dancing with her family and friends that went home before her, saving a place for us.

In addition to her parents she was reunited with her grandparents Essie M. and Jimmy L. Jones. Shelia was not only a great mother to her (3) children Clarence S. Jones, Tiana E. Jones, and Tavia E. Jones she was also a loving wife, caring aunt a helpful sister, and a joy to all those she came in contact with, even if for just a moment in passing.  In addition to her (3) children, she leaves to cherish her memory her (3) grandchildren, Taviauna Esther Jean Mackey "her sugar lumps", of Canton, Ohio, Trevona Eloise Jones of Denver, Colorado, Alaya Jones of   Canton, Ohio; (2) great- grandchildren, Destiny and Dacien of Denver, Colorado; her ex-husband and close friend, Terry Jones of Canton, Ohio; favorite uncle,   William "Bill" Jones of Canton, Ohio; favorite aunt, Sara Freeman; (4) siblings, Veola "Peanut" Jones of Texas, Roy "June" Jones, Jr. of Canton, Kim Winn of Canton, and Amos "Danty" Jones of Canton (the one she referred to as the comedian of the family); close friends, Cheryl Battle and Tracie Chester (4) sisters-in-law, (2) brothers-in-law; (2) son-in-laws, William Fambro III and Chris Mackey; (11) nephews, (8) nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends who she loved and cared for so deeply.
