Shamiya L. Davis-Johnson affectionally known as "Shoe" was born at Akron City Hospital to Lorraine Davis and the late Jerry James (Kimbrough) Johnson. She attended Buchtel High School. She loved her family and friends and didn't play about any of them. She loved the outdoors, decorating and if you knew her she loved music, especially gospel. Most of all she loved her boys.

Shamiya is preceded in death by her grandparents, Juanita Davis, Johnny Boswell, Lillian Johnson and Silas Johnson; niece, Shaynese Sykes; uncles, Al and John Boswell; and aunt, Juanita (Kimbrough) Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Lorraine Davis; sons, Kyler Davis and Kirkland Robins; uncles, Johnny (Pat) Davis, Ronnie Davis, Kevin Davis, Tracey Boswell, Phillip (Ava) Miller, Roscoe Graves and Willie (LaNina) Johnson; aunts, Patricia Jones and Cheryl Boswell; niece, Roxann Hunter; brothers, Vincent Davis, Jerry Johnson, Jr., Michael Spragling, Jerome (Suleema) Spragling, and Chet Johnson; sisters, Deshana (Michael) Dundridge, Geraldine Williams and Gena (James) Radabaugh; God sister, Shirl Dawson; God children, Faith, Aubrey, and Pashion; special cousins, Marshorie, Jonese, Tia, Saleem, Jonathan, Lena, and Brandon; special friends, Donta, Shanta, Jeneen, Norchelle, and Laura; special family, Lacey and Doris Robins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
