Santwan Tyrale Hammond, 24, was born in Akron, Ohio to Clestine Hammond and Thomas Moss. He passed away on July 8, 2019.

Santwan was dedicated to his family, loving, full of laughter, and devoted to GOD! He was very active in his community and a graduate of Buchtel High School. Santwan was loved by many and highly favored.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Otis Hammond and his paternal grandparents Hayword Moss, Sr and Hannah Herrin of Akron, Ohio.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his loving devoted mother Celestine Hammond; brothers, Dontae (Sharrae) and Gregory Hammond of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Jazza Hammond, Breaunna (Debbie) Henry and Akron, Ohio; Paternal siblings, D'vaughntay Moss, Bryana Johnson and Matthew Pierce; maternal nana, Ruth Hammond of Akron, Ohio; aunts Gwen Hammond Shirley Hammond-Blanks, Cassandra Hammond, Marciea Hammond-Vinson, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Millender, Brenda Herrin and Verondia Moss, all of Akron, Ohio and Lynda Nation of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; uncles Otis Hammond, Antwaine Hammond Sr and Hayword Moss all of Akron, Ohio; special nephews/son Javen Hammond of Akron, Ohio; and a host of nephews, cousins (near and far), great aunts, his higher ground church family and special friends.
