Sandra Jean Sanders 74, gained her heavenly wings on March 22, 2019. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on May 5, 1944 and had lived in the Akron community for a number of years. She was a woman of a loving spirit and will be truly missed by her family and friends. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Thomas King, Sr., her mother, Mozella Lillard and ex-husband, Grady Sanders To forever cherish her memory, she leaves, sons, Allen G. Sanders of Canton, OH , David T. (Rose) Sanders of Akron; daughter, Stephanie J. Sanders of Akron and step-daughter, Tokya Davis of Akron; grandchildren whom she raised, Shareikka Sanders, DeCarlo and LaTarris Sanders; brothers and sisters, Germaine (Lorri) Lillard of Hudson, OH, Thomas (Toni) King, Jr. of Columbus, OH, Tonya (Donald) Carter of Akron, and Linda King of Berkley, CA; devoted companion, Joe Woods of Akron; and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Homegoing service will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, 12:00 PM at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, OH 44306, where the friends may call from 11 AM until time of service.
