Samuel Brown, 65, past away November 22, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.  Born in Barberton, OH, he was a lifetime resident of this community.  He was retired from the City of Akron, Recreation Dept.. Preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Shearl Brown; sons, Richard Brown of Akron, James Brown of Ft. Worth, TX; Teddy and Sam Atkins both of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Vicki Brown, Carla Iverson and Tiauna Mason, all of Akron; brothers, Howard (Julia) Brown of Louisville, KY, John, Willie, Albert (Rose) Brown, all of Akron; sister, Mary Brown of Cleveland, OH; 27 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
