Sammy David Calhoun, age 51, passed away suddenly on February 1. 2017. He was born on September 6, 1965 in Canton, Ohio to Norman and Lucille Calhoun. Sammy graduated from McKinley Senior High School in 1984. He worked at Walmart, but found his passion in cooking at the Brick City in Canton, and The Sandpit in Massillon. Sammy was known as " The Best Wing Cook" in town. He also worked at Joes Chicken House in Canton. Sammy had a caring heart of gold. He loved spending time with his family and was always the life of the party. Sammy was preceded in death by his parents , his brother James Calhoun and his first wife Lisa Calhoun. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Angela Hunter Calhoun; sons, Marco Mack, Orlando (Collette) Hunter, Vincent (Heather) Hunter; daughters, Aryon Mack, Langeria Brown; (3) sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Calhoun, Trisha Calhoun, Miney Calhoun; (3) brothers, Norman Calhoun, Jr., David Calhoun, Lojeans(Carla) Calhoun all of Canton, Ohio; very special nephew, Jason Calhoun; lifelong friends, Rev. Howard Robinson, Jr., Phil Tucker, Pierre Taylor; mother-in-law, April Turpin Hunter; father-in-law, Willie Hunter, Sr.; sister-in-law, TaWonda Hunter; brothers-in-law, Willie Hunter, Jr., DeWon(Audrea) Turpin as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
