The late Sam Poole was born on June 5, 1926 in Eufala, Alabama to the late Mrs. Willie and Rev. Sam Poole. Sam Poole joined The House Of The Lord under the leadership of Bishop F. Josephus Johnson. He was a faithful member of Bible Study and Sunday School and very active in his church. Sam retired from the U.S. Post Office of Akron, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lula Bell Poole; sisters, Ethel Brown, Almada Ricks, Mary Stevens; brothers, John Poole and Alonzo Poole, Sam Poole II, Ned Poole and Levi Poole. He is survived by his son, Comerlee Poole Sr.; daughter, Jeanette Poole- Wallace; sister, Emma Manuell; grandsons, Comerlee Poole Jr. and Brandon Wallace; special friends, Oscar and Katherine Johnson; special thanks to his caretakers, Gwen Ricks, Cheryl Green, Concordia Rehab Center & nursing staff; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Procession will form and condolences may be sent 1170 South Hawkins Ave., Akron, Ohio 44320.
