On February 5, 2017 Ruby Lee George was called home to be with the Lord. She was born December 30, 1925 in Stillmore, Georgia. Ruby loved cooking, fishing, Cleveland sports, and playing golf on the Wii. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially the holidays. She   also enjoyed sharing the same birthday as Lebron James. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Ruby is preceded in death by her late husband William T. George; parents, Ellis Patterson, Sr. and Fannie K. Wood-Patterson; siblings, Willie Jean Patterson, Leomia Gordon, Ellis Patterson, Jr., Sherman Patterson, Henry Patterson, Freddie B. Patterson, Jimmie Lee Patterson, Pernessa Jones. Ruby leaves to cherish her precious memories to  her children William L. (Carol) George, Mamie J. (Lonnie) Jones, Gail Mayo, Dorthy J. (Ron) Bush, Bobbie L. (Therese) George, Kathleen (Eliot) Mills of San Antonio, Texas, Tamatha T. George ( Skeata); special sons, James (Dawn) Sullin, and Elton Simpson; sisters, Eva Mae Smith, Wilma (Paul) Bennafield; brother, Louis (JoAnn) Patterson; sister-in-law, Linda Patterson; special cousin, Mattie Burton; special friends, Clarine Jones, Alice Prather, Barbara Ross and Electra Williams (17) grandchildren, (18) great-grandchildren, (1) great-great granddaughter Kali Jones, (20) special grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will forever be in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
