Ruby Pearl Carter, 93, went home to be with the Lord September 27, 2013.  She was born in Crenshaw County, AL.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for many years. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Cy Carter, three sisters, Eula Johnson, Rosie L. McCants,  Mary Cox and one brother Willie Jones. She is survived by son, Cy (Noma) Carter Jr. of Leesburg, AL; special beloved niece Avie Boyer of Akron; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
